Define the primary event

Choose the form submission, booking, purchase, signup or other event the page is meant to produce.

Keep attribution context

Preserve campaign and source information where it supports useful reporting.

Test the implementation

Submit test forms and complete the real user path to confirm events arrive in the correct system.

Avoid duplicate counting

Thank-you-page refreshes, repeated scripts and multiple tags can inflate reported conversions.
